What if I tell you, you’ve got the last day of your life to live? What will you do?
Buy shoes? Eat your favorite ice cream? Call everyone, who have loved you and you’ve loved in return? Maybe go to church? Confess? Spend it so close; intimately close with the one you love the most?
It does not matter how much we’ve got, a day, an hour or two, maybe a year. The thing is; it’s how you plan to spend it. We can only have a lifetime to waste, someday has to be today, everyday.
I had my usual morning messages today; one that gave the most impact was the one from Aikee. It goes like… We don’t have to go places to be really happy, all it takes’ the courage to look at the life we live in a new horizon. Sounds true, it makes sense.
We can only fuss about the past or worry about what’s to come. Maybe we live our lives unnoticing that the one we love wore the very cloth we dream of giving him, her. That tonight’s the biggest time of her life but we forgot that simply because things piled up. Maybe tonight he just wanted to play billiards and drink rum but we’re too preoccupied of the interview tomorrow.
We can only live today; we cannot rush things nor make them run slow; but today, today have to be someday. It has to be the day we’ve dreamed of, the day that comes after the past.
Make the most of today.
You’ll never know until it’s over.
And yah, I love you.
"you'll never know until its over"..
ReplyDeletetrue..
i have always believed that what matters most in life is not where we really are, but who we're with.. :) i still believe that until now..
if i have a year, or a month, or a minute left.. i think i'll just keep my gaze up the skies.. and with eyes closed and with a smile, whisper to the heavens the words "thank you".. thank you that it happened.. thank you for the in-betweens..
and then,
let out another big sigh,
with another bigbig smile..
:)
that's sweet :')
