I was really occupied this afternoon when I went to school; got a lot of things going on and I have to keep my pace. I have had a meeting regarding the upcoming intramurals, went from offices to offices to finalize the details of our upcoming constitutional amendment, been trying to contact people for certain and varied reason and I have been at San Antonio (twice today) for a lab test before I had a boring class under Mr. Window. Going home was such a relief.

Anyhow, my day had been busy but its rather typical, almost, if only that incident at the Registrar’s office didn’t happen. Kung ano man yun, let me make kwento…

Well, I went inside the office saw a cute guy (a student also) and two girls, the other communicating with the staff and the other waiting. As any other student would do, I took a seat. I sat a person’s gap from the guy and waited for the girl to finish. When the first girl finished, I moved and sat directly opposite the guy (that I swear would have been my KIRSmate if only we were somewhere else XD). He was cute but I was, as I have been pointing out, BUSY and OCCUPIED.

I didn’t notice that while I was sitting, his eyes were running from his side to mine. Curious, I looked at the direction he was looking at. And to my delight, he was wearing the exact shoes that I am wearing.

Awkward moment

True enough, after I have tried to struggle to pretend I didn’t notice, the girl finished and I was called in next. And so, the shoes were forgotten and the day went on.

So, ano naman ang relevance ng incident na yun…

Well, it made me realize a simple thing…

What if in the midst of our busy and fast moving life, we meet the person whom we are destined to share our entire lives with – but miss the chance?

Pa’no kung minsa’y makasalubong natin ang taong laan sa atin but we are too BUSY and OCCUPIED that we failed to recognize such leap of fate, such rare universal conspiracy.

Pa’no kung minsa’y makasalubong natin ang wagas na pagmamahal and fail to see?
