Parang kailan lang, I was hanging socks too at our door, trying to stay up late waiting for Santa to come. By then, I have in my heart small wishes, all sweet and small.
But now, as I have grown bigger, the world has become bigger too.
And the wishes – big and bolder.
But for this Christmas, though I have a lot in mind, I have only a few that am dying and hoping for – badly. On top of that list is that sana I’d be able to not anymore be much of a burden especially to my brother whose also trying to raise funds for a house and a car, that I’d be a more loving and understanding anak, kapatid, tito, friend, etc. Secondly, I wish that I get better fast from my uveitis, and that sana it’s not a symptom of any serious disease. I still have a lot in mind that I still wish to hug and say I love you with all my heart and make dreams come true with and for, for me to have Lupus or TB or AIDS or even those many other ills that I have seen in Wikipedia’s definition of uvietis. And lastly, I just wish for every person inside my heart, that may their heart’s desires come true.
They may sound simple, they may sound innocently sweet. But now I know that these are big hopes, that these are things that won’t be simply bought from Santa’s store. But with the same hopeful heart, I keep my faith in the season’s bright lights and heartwarming breezy nights.

With so much love, I would also like to sing my heart out and may the angels and the heralds of joy hear this, my first carol.
